KwaMuhle Museum
It's Ironic that a museum documenting the fight against apartheid is the former building where apartheid laws used to be enforced. On aproching KwaMuhle museum you would immediately get struck by large copper covered emblem at the entrance door. The museum reflects Durban's urban growth and history of its residents from a large range of perspectives. KwaMuhle Museum shows what life was like in and around Durban during the apartheid era and contributions of ordinary people who laid the foundation of what Durban is today. The museum includes newspaper prints, statues, paintings, books, and pictures. Some of the pictures and newspaper articles are taken from well known South African politicians and human rights activist. I must say some Slogans, articles, and depectation are very heart touching. If you are sensitive I'm pretty sure, you would end up crying to know about all the horrible atrocities African people had to go through. I urge you to go to kwaMuhle Museum it's going to change your entire perspective about how you look at the world.
