Interacting with South Africans

Did you know 80 percent of South African's belongs to Sub Saharan ancestry, divided among a variety of ethnic group's speaking different African languages nine of which have official status not only in South Africa but also in neighboring countries like Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Zimbabwe? Rest of the 20 percent of the population of the country includes European Whites who arrived with their colonies, Indian's were brought as a slave's by Europeans to farm Sugarcane from India and the mixed race (commonly with African and White) are known in South Africa as Coloured. I see South Africa as a multiethnic society with a different race, cultures and religions. Its diversity is also shown in the countries constitution which is recognized in 11 official languages combined with English from former British colonies and Afrikaans which was developed from Dutch by Dutch settlers. The diversity is also shown in there flags. Commonly in South Africa, South African's called their country a rainbow nation because of their ethnicity.
