Arrived in South Africa
South Africa is literally named after it's position on the world map. Upon formation, the country was named the Union of South Africa in English, reflecting its origin from the unification of four formerly separate British colonies. South Africa contains some of the oldest archeological human fossils sites in the world. Archeologists have recovered a huge amount of human fossils from a series of caves in Gauteng province which is also the largest economic hub of South Africa and where I landed. The province has one international airport called O.R. Tambo. It's South Africa's biggest and busiest airport, facilitating over 21 million passengers each year. More than 50 percent of South Africa's air traveling passengers are facilitated through this airport. I still think compared to New York or Dubai airport it is their youngest baby.
What do you think?
